COMMUNICATION AND LANGUAGE

My child has difficulty making eye contact when speaking to others.

My child struggles to start or hold a conversation with peers or adults.

My child often repeats words or phrases that they have heard (echolalia).

My child does not use gestures (like pointing or waving) to communicate.

SOCIAL INTERACTION

My child has difficulty understanding the emotions of others.

My child seems uninterested in playing with other children.

My child has trouble understanding or following social rules, like taking turns.

My child avoids group activities or prefers to play alone.

BEHAVIOR AND INTERESTS

My child becomes upset by changes in routine or unexpected events.

My child engages in repetitive behaviors, such as hand-flapping, rocking, or spinning.

My child has intense or narrow interests in certain subjects or objects.

My child seems overly focused on specific parts of objects (e.g., spinning wheels on a toy car).

SENSORY SENSITIVITIES

My child seems overly sensitive to certain sounds, textures, or lights.

My child is very particular about the textures of foods or the feel of clothing.

My child actively seeks out sensory experiences (e.g., jumping, spinning, or touching objects repeatedly).

COGNITIVE AND LEARNING

My child has an excellent memory for details, such as dates, numbers, or specific facts.

My child learns to do things in unusual or unconventional ways.

My child has difficulty understanding abstract concepts or following instructions with multiple steps.
