Science Club

Science Club with Autism is a hands-on, exploration-oriented program that is aimed at creating curiosity and creating an interest in science among children on the autism spectrum and children with autism spectrum disorder. Combining neurodiverse children into an inclusive Science Club for Kids provides the necessary positive atmosphere in which children with autism can learn and develop, by exposure to sensory-friendly science through experiments, interactive games, guided discovery, etc.

The Science Club for Kids is directed by trained therapists to deal with children with autism, discusses biology, chemistry, physics and earth sciences, with visual aids, routines and step by steps instructions to keep all participants active at their own speed. The activities are also designed to suit the interest of the children and they are given the chance to experiment in everything such as making simple machines and even performing exciting chemical reactions.

The program is aimed at developing critical thinking, problem-solving, fine motor skills and encouraging socialization through group projects and group experiments. The children on the autism spectrum are made to pose questions, make observations, and bring out their innate curiosity in a manner that supports their sensory and communication requirements.

Parents and other caregivers can also be invited to participate in the learning process, which supports the concepts at home and praises the discovery by the child. The purpose of the project, which is the Science Club with Autism, is to empower children through the development of confidence in their skills, teamwork, and wonder about the surrounding world.

We aim to build an inclusive fun atmosphere, where kids with disabilities in the autism spectrum can learn to enjoy science, connect with other kids and become life long learners. This is indeed the place for children with autism to enjoy the wonder of exploration with science.
