Mommy Daddy And Me Swimming 101

Mommy Daddy And Me Swimming 101

Our swimming lessons for autism— “Mommy, Daddy, and Me Swimming 101”—are designed to introduce children on the autism spectrum to the joys and benefits of water in a safe, sensory-friendly environment. The program is unique and aims at developing water confidence, coordination, and family bonding and considering the needs of children with autism in particular.

In the presence of a parent or a guardian, children have fun and structured activities with instructors who have experience in teaching children with autism how to swim. All the sessions would include visual aids, repetitive patterns and non-forceful instructions to ensure that all the children feel safe and at home in the water.

Our swimming classes for autism emphasize gradual skill development, positive reinforcement, and sensory integration. Parents are also active and gain tips on effective water methods that make them have more trust and bond with their child.

In addition to water safety, the lessons foster social interaction, motor skills and sensory balancing which are important aspects in aiding the overall development.

At our center, we are trying to turn autism and swimming into a happy, confidence-creating experience. Each splash is your chance to give your child a chance to grow, bond and develop in a supportive and inclusive atmosphere.
