Cooking 101

“Cooking 101 for Kids with Autism” is a hands-on culinary program designed to introduce children on the autism spectrum to the basics of cooking in a sensory-friendly, structured, and supportive environment. This program aims to teach essential life skills while fostering independence, creativity, and a sense of accomplishment in the kitchen.

Led by instructors trained to work with neurodiverse children, the classes are carefully adapted to accommodate different sensory preferences and learning styles. Visual aids, step-by-step instructions, and hands-on demonstrations make each cooking task easy to understand and follow. From measuring ingredients to following recipes, children will gain practical skills while having fun creating simple and delicious meals.
