Book Club

The Book Club for Kids is an alternative program that targets children with autism on building a passion to read books and tell stories. It is an inclusive children autism reading club providing a friendly, organized and sensory control environment where children can read books, enhance communication and read at their own pace.

Each session is carefully designed to promote engagement of neurodiverse learners with the help of visual aids, interactive discussions, and creative activities led by experienced facilitators who understand the needs of those learners. Reading books are well selected depending on the level of reading of a child, reading interests and sensibilities so that they can have an easy and enjoyable time.

In addition to reading, our children’s book club incorporates storytelling, art projects, and role-playing, which make stories come alive and allow kids to be creative in their expression. The activities also encourage socialization, teamwork, and confidence of the children with autism, which are the main areas of development among children with autism.

This children’s autism reading club is family oriented and parents and caregivers are welcome to participate in it, thus developing the bonding aspect as they learn and discover together.

The Core to it, is that the Book Club for Kids is not only a children autism reading program but a hopeful community where children with neurodiverse conditions can socialize with other children, develop their imaginations, and fall in love with reading books in an environment that is fun and inclusive.
