Big Brother Big Sister

The “Big Brother, Big Sister for Kids with Autism” program is a mentorship initiative designed specifically for children on the autism spectrum. Our mission is to create supportive, one-on-one mentoring relationships that enhance the social, emotional, and developmental well-being of children with autism. Through compassionate guidance and meaningful connections, we aim to foster personal growth, social engagement, and life skills.

Each child, or “Little,” is paired with a carefully selected and trained mentor, or “Big,” who understands the unique needs and strengths of children on the spectrum. The Big Brothers and Big Sisters serve as positive role models, providing consistent support in areas such as communication, social interaction, emotional regulation, and daily life activities.

This program is structured to promote inclusion, build confidence, and develop relationships that empower children with autism to navigate their world with greater ease. Activities are tailored to each child’s individual preferences, comfort levels, and goals, ensuring a personalized and enriching experience.

Our vision is to create lasting friendships and positive developmental outcomes, helping every child in our program reach their full potential, while educating the community on the importance of acceptance, understanding, and support for neurodiverse individuals.
